****NEEDS A VERY SPECIAL SAVIOR!!**** TOTTENHAM, 8 years old, is at once an inspiration and a heartbreaker, a victim and the most determined of survivors, despair and hope all wrapped up in one handsome honey-colored package. His body may be in pain and his legs unsteady yet this sweet, gentle senior has an unbreakable spirit and it shines brightly from behind those wise old eyes. TOTTENHAM appears to be completely blind and he arrived at the Care Center with large abrasions on his back and side that suggest a possible run-in with a vehicle. He walks slowly and carefully, following the sound of a voice, sniffing as he goes. The stairs to the yard are a challenge, especially as he is hurting but he gets there eventually. He loves caresses and is content just to be alive and out in the fresh air with his human. He may not be the most active of dogs but when its time to return to his bed, TOTTENHAM is unwilling to return so soon. TOTTENHAM is a special dog and hes searching for a very special savior to offer him the medical care he so desperately needs and a chance to live out his golden years with the kind of peace and dignity he deserves. All we can do now is hope...
