NEPAL........ home to many snow cap mountains of the Himalaya...less travelled by non adventurers.. I travelled to Nepal after Sikkim.....from Gantok to Bagdogra...Delhi...arrived at Kathmandu at 5.40 pm...not expecting much of the trip but to see what Kathmandu and Pokhara is like since Gillian had made the trip...which i wanted very much to explore. After 3 days of travelling with my guide, Ripu....the trip turned to be such an amazing experience...noticing that there are so many travellers from Japan, Korean, China and many European as well...the fear in me dissipated and fun came forth.. It started with the visit of Darbar Square...the home of the king and "Kumari"...a chosen young girl that will accompany the king until her menstral...Legend has it that the king used to have godesses playing with him until they noticed his lustrous desire playing with pretty godesses and gave him a perfect girl, so beautiful and perfect as a companion but young enough to prevent the lust..this tradition is carried until today.
