NERVOUS BREAKDOWNS This weekend it emerged Cheryl Fernandez-Versini suffered a nervous breakdown after her failed marriage, X Factor sacking and nearly dying of malaria in 2010 pushed her to the brink of insanity. She feels back to her old self again and thanks her family, friends and dogs for getting her through her darkest hour. But what constitutes a nervous breakdown and what are the best ways of dealing with them and avoiding them in the future? Today we are joined by mum of one Vicky Charles, who suffered a breakdown and consequent plans to take her own life, and Dr Dawn Harper who is here to talk about preventing.
