NESTE MESMO DIA ... 47 ANOS ATRÁS Recording, mixing, editing: Hello, Goodbye, The Fool On The Hill Wednesday 1 November 1967 Studio Three (control room), EMI Studios, Abbey Road Producer: George Martin Engineer: Ken Scott In this session The Beatles turned their attentions to Magical Mystery Tour songs. A decision had been made to add more bass guitar to Hello, Goodbye, which necessitated a fourth reduction mix. This was completed in four attempts, numbered takes 22-25. According to the tape logs, these mixes were for Parts Two and Three of the song, suggesting an edit was later made, but no evidence of such an action exists. The second bass overdub was made on the following day, 2 November 1967. The first Magical Mystery Tour song to receive a stereo mix was The Fool On The Hill. This was created in five attempts, the last of which was edited at the end of the session to reduce its length.
