NEVER A DULL MOMENT! The KCLBA just got a call from one of our clean out crews. They found what looked to be a land mine in one of our homes and asked David deVelder what they should do? Now there is a question you do not get every day. David told them to call 911 immediately. Everyone waited in the office with baited breath waiting to hear the outcome. 30 minutes later we got the answer. The Grand Rapids Police Department responded immediately and checked it out. It turns out it was a VERY old and strange looking smoke detector. The GRPD told our clean out crew that they absolutely did the right thing and could certainly understand as it looked strange to them as well. Just when we say, "Now we have seen it all!"
