NEVER AND ALWAYS Never and Always is short for Never Lose Hope, and Love Always. This is an exclusive WITS opportunity to make a difference in someones life! Cancer is unfortunately becoming a universal heartache for so many of us. Dealing with cancer can be mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially exhausting. Never and Always is an idea that I came up with in an effort to bring some hope and perhaps a smile to the faces of some people who are dealing with cancer. Heres how it works: Purchase a Never and Always (N & A) piece of jewelry and $5 from the sale of each piece will go into the Never and Always fund (NAF). An N & A necklace is $25; an N & A bracelet is $20; and N & A earrings are $10. As always with WITS, the creation of your N & A piece will be custom made so the design possibilities are endless! Check out the Never and Always album for ideas but remember that those are just samples; if you dont see a design/color that you want, I will work with you to create a new design; I will also be adding more pieces to the album as they are ordered/made. Everyone knows pink is the color for breast cancer awareness, but did you know that all cancers have their own awareness color? Even the caregivers have an awareness color! When you order a piece, you dont have to know the awareness color; just tell me what cancer(s) you want the piece to represent and Ill take it from there. How does this help families dealing with cancer? As people purchase N & A pieces, the NAF will continue to grow; then approximately every 30 days one family will be chosen at random to receive the NAF by mail along with an inspirational card letting them know that they are loved! The NAF has a minimum of $25, so if after 30 days it hasnt reached the minimum, no family will be chosen until the end of the next 30 days. The NAF also has a maximum of $100. If the NAF reaches $100 before the end of the 30 days, a family will be chosen, the NAF will be sent to them, and the next 30 day cycle will begin. $25 - $100 certainly wont pay off any medical bills, but hopefully it will be enough to put a smile on their faces and let them know that someone is thinking of them in their time of need! :-) The families: We all know people dealing with cancer, so Im going to call on YOU for help with this! If you know a family that has someone with active cancer and want to submit them for the monthly NAF drawing, private message or e-mail me the name and address. I do not need or want to know which family member at that address has cancer or what cancer it is, I just need a name and address to mail the card to. The only requirement to submit a NAF family is that someone in that household is currently dealing with active cancer, not a survivor or someone in remission at this time. How they are dealing with their cancer doesnt matter; so, whether they are undergoing chemo and radiation, whether they are being treated alternatively, or whether they have reached the comfort stage (hospice) of their illness, as long as someone in that household is dealing with active cancer, they can be submitted for the NAF drawing. You DO NOT have to purchase any jewelry to submit a name for the NAF drawing. Of course, if you purchase an N & A piece and want to add an additional donation, you can. Or if youd like to just donate to the NAF without purchasing jewelry, you can do that too! I hope all my shining stars are as excited about this as I am!
