NEVER GIVE UP When you are discouraged, think of the following: Years ago in Illinois, a young man contested for a lot of political posts including business but couldnt succed. After many failures, he was elected at the end. He is Abraham Lincoln. Winston Churchill took three years to get through the eight grade, because he couldnt pass English. Besides, in 1878 ,the incandescent lamp was discovered by Thomas Alva Edison after ten thousand failures. Sir Edmund Hillary, the first to climb Mount Everest in 1953, scaled after series of attempts. The poor widow persisted and won justice Lk 18: 1-8. Moses though tired persisted through the help of Aaron and Hur Ex. 17:8-13, thus, he won salvation for the Jews. We are faced with difficulties in our life as we journey in this world. The question is, what do we do to overcome such vale situations? Do we turn to God for help? Or other divinities? It may seem God is delaying,and that is where perseverance comes in. Never give up in prayer. Have a child-like faith when you pray and I assure you with the words of the Psalmist that our help shall come from the Lord who made heaven and earth.
