NEVILLE UPDATE: 10/25/2014 Hi everyone! Its been a long time since I last posted about Nevilles recovery. Neville has been rapidly improving but because things have been super busy with work and at the shelter it just seemed like I never had time to post about him. On Friday we decided to walk the trail from our property out to the adjoining farm. We havent walked that route since before the injury and in that time period a lot of trees have fallen down across the path. To my surprise, Neville jumped them all with ease and thats when I realized it was time to post an update. All I can say is that the past 3 months have been a blur. I have no recollection of where they went or when Summer turned into Fall. What I do know is that NEVILLE IS BACK! Back to demanding two walks a day. Back to walking down the stairs (supervised for now). Back to eating the cat toys. Back to being happy & pain free. The only on-going therapy hes receiving is a chiropractic adjustment every 3 weeks or so and of course hes always under the expert care of our homeopathic vet Robin L Cannizzaro Dvm. We expect his body to continue to absorb the herniation over the next few months and then even the slight sway to his hips should disappear. His separation anxiety is under control and life is good. Hes back to work as the Canine Foster Daddy for Passion 4 Paws and is enjoying his kitten proteges. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, & continued support over the past 3 months. They are what got us through those dark days. Now that hes feeling better hes looking forward to meeting his new friend and staunch supporter ACO Les Archer from New Hartford Barkhamsted Animal Control.
