NEVILLE UPDATE 8/1/2014: 10:30 AM Heres a video of Neville getting his laser light treatment today. His Aunt Cindy came along again to help me out (and to lend moral support to Neville). Youll see in the video that he still had some acupuncture needles in his back, but hed shaken out all of the important ones around the herniation itself. The laser is a 2-in-1 light therapy that is similar to acupuncture in the sense that it is deeply penetrating but non-invasive because it doesnt involve needles. We had to wear 3-D glasses as protection from the laser beam in case it accidentally flashed in our eyes. Dr. Trish is hysterical. We adore her. My friend Emma Jeanne Lord had been telling me how great Dr. Trish was for a while, but it wasnt until I took Buddy (one of my foster dogs) to her that I realized just how amazing she is. Dr. Trish gave Buddy the most comprehensive exam I have ever seen a vet give an animal. (My own or one of my shelter animals.) When Neville got injured there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted him to see Trish right away. We are very lucky to have found her, and we owe it all to Emma! Thank you Emma!
