Interpretive Reading results— Senay Emmanuel, 1st Place, and Mimi Yousef, 3rd Place, Extemporaneous Speaking—1st Place Emily Readey Science Olympiad On Saturday, 6 Dec, 85 of our Olympians traveled to Bellevue to participate at Interlake’s first ever Science Olympiad Invitational. The earliest invitational of the season, it was an excellent opportunity to push our thinking, our engineering, and our teamwork. Coaches Weeks and McComb are tremendously proud of the teams’ performance and stellar sportsmanship. In a field of 25 teams, our Varsity 2 team placed 4th overall and our Varsity 1 team placed 3rd overall (edged out by consistent Sci Oly powerhouses, Bothell and Camas).
