NEW CREATURES REALITIES IN MOTION Now That You Are Born Again 11 DAYS TO THE NONCR 2014!! 2 Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. What an enlightening scripture! 2 Corinthians 5:17 clearly conveys that a man in Christ is a New Creation, not an improved Creation nor a modified Creation, but a NEW Creation. The scripture further states that old things have passed away, meaning that something has passed away. As born again believers it is important for us to understand that the life in Christ is not a continuation of the old; if you are in Christ you are NEW. A person who does not have a heart cannot have a heart attack, a person who does not have lungs cannot have a lung infection. The Apostle Paul conveyed in Romans 6 that we died with Jesus. Now, please understand that if a dead person was to be punched they wouldnt respond. Why? Because they are dead. If they were to be injected with various sicknesses, they wouldnt respond. Why? Because they are dead. Attempting to bewitch them would be a waste of time. Why? Exactly. Because they are dead. We DIED with Jesus therefore our bodies do not respond to the weather. We died with Jesus therefore we do not respond to the economic meltdown. The New Creation is a product of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the part of you that wants to sin has been removed (Colossians 2:11). You died with Jesus. Now that you are born again, you are dead to sin. Now that you are born again the part of you that is subject to sickness has been removed. Now that you are born again, the part of you that can be cursed has been removed, Hallelujah! These are realities from God’s Word which every born again believer ought to meditate on. Remember that each time you look into God’s Word, you are transfigured, you move into greater degrees of Glory (2 Corinthians 3:18, AMP). Go for the Word of God.
