Oct 12th Time: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Location: 4 Howard Street, Studio Three Instructor: Alyssa Oxley Workshop Cost: $35 Materials Fee: You will select and purchase the glass for your project from our inventory during the class. The estimated cost of this bowl project is $15. Cash, check or credit card accepted. Make a gorgeous fused glass bowl or a drape vase for use in your home or to share as a lovely handmade gift. No previous experience is required for this introductory workshop - both beginners and returning students are welcome to explore the magic of fused glass. New students will be taught glass cutting techniques at the start of the class, so please arrive promptly. It is surprisingly easy to learn basic techniques to work in fused glass and you will be guided step-by-step through the entire process, Choosing your own color scheme and planning your design makes each bowl a unique work of art. Once your bowl is assembled it will be fired in our glass kiln. You will be able to pick up your finished project within a few days. Note: Please do not wear sandals or open-toed shoes to this workshop.
