NEW Granite Wall coming to Big Rock in November... In addition to the comprehensive schedule of improvements to our Bouldering Arena taking place during September and October, we are also installing a new Granite Wall in early November that will replicate the look of real rock and climb like it too! Designed and manufactured by the worlds leading climbing walls manufacturer Walltopia, this fully custom made wall will feature heavily textured GRP panels designed by experienced sculptors to recreate the feel and look of natural rock. The Granite Wall will incorporate two crack climbs and will offer a more 3-dimensional experience providing the opportunity for all our climbers to learn new techniques which are currently harder to replicate on our existing plywood panel walls. 3 different lines will each be protected by an auto belay unit, making climbing on the wall simple and fun. Due to arrive week commencing Monday 3rd November and requiring around 8 working days to install, the Granite Wall will be located next to the CrazyClimb area and should be available to climb from mid-November.
