NEW LAWN MOWER Miss Precious is bugging me to get a new lawn mower, but I told her that we ought to put buying one off til next year cause the grass cutting season is almost over for this year. Besides, I told her that I needed a little more time for her to pick up those beer cans. She said she was tird of pushing me around on the mower since the transmission tore up. I reminded her that was probably why she is living a long time. That’s good exercise for her. Saves gas too cause the motor is only turning the blade.. Now it is using even less cause one of the blades fell off last week. I reminded her about me having to sit on that thing in the sun while she pushes it around. I reminded her that the sun shines in my face and while she’s pushing she has her head down and can’t git her pretty face blistered. She appreciated me reminding her of that. She is a little slow pushing me around sometimes and she really needs to get a little perk in her gait. Sometimes I even have to flash the headlights and sound like a siren making out like I’m on ah fire truck to git her moving a little faster. She likes it when I do that. Sometimes when she has enough breath, she makes like she’s a siren too. Ever once in a while I give her a break. I let her stop pushing and send her into the house to make us some ice water while I make a few calls on the cell. What can I say folks. I’m doing Miss Precious a great favor by keeping her in shape. You ought to see her calf muscles, how big they are. Almost as big as her arms where I always let her sling that sling blade on the back two acres where it usually stayed growed up til I put her on that muscle building program. She looks like Charles Atlas now. Won’t nobody be kicking sand in her face if we ever get to go to the beach. She’s gonna be alright. She just thinks up things from time to time to git me mad. Nothing makes me madder that for her to think up ways for me to spend MONEY!! What about that! Good as I am to her! Jimmy L. Manley
