NEW MAJOR CHARITY PROJECT!!! I have a dream, not as amazing as Martin Luthers but I have a feeling it will come true, just as his did. THE HALE CLASSIC AND RACE CAR SHOW! Heres the idea.... (bearing in mind that there is so much to do to make it happen). The closure of the main shopping area of Hale (Ashley Road) with traffic diverted via Cecil Road....easy!! The whole of the main street will then have beautiful classic and racing cars on show to the public with plenty of linked side exhibits such as the BMRMC (British motor racing marshals club). The exhibited vehicles will be INVITED to take part to ensure we have just pure classic cars and interesting race/rally cars. This event will be to raise money for Speed Of Sight (reg charity 1150463) in order to build their special track cars which enable people with all sorts of disability to do something they never thought possible...to drive a powerful car in safety! It will also be great promotion for Hale and it’s traders. This was an acorn 3 weeks ago....its now getting so much interest, its just sprouted its first leaf!
