NEW POSITION: Clinical Psychologist CAMHs or CAMHs Practitioner (Band 7/8A) Job reference: 13725 Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Salary range: £30,000 - £43,000 Full time Permanent Required by one of our partner clients for their Young peoples service. This is a full time permanent position and will be based in the Shrewsbury area. There will be travel between two sites so a car driver would be preferred. The service provides the highest quality, flexible, individualised and solution focused care for young people aged 11 to 18 years with complex emotional needs, challenging behaviour and attachment difficulties. In particular for those suffering complex trauma. The position will include psychological assessment, medium to long term therapy to young people, as well as advice and consultation on young peoples psychological needs to non-psychologist colleagues and other carers. It will include children and young people that have experienced abuse and are suffering from trauma. You will need to be HCPC registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the relevant experience with children and young people, or a CAMHS Practitioner with the relevant necessary experience. Previous experience of working with childrens mental health, educational, foster and or care services is absolutely vital and in particular experience of dealing with young people suffering from complex trauma.
