NEW POST Chicago has been mockingly nicknamed “Chi-raq” (the Iraq of the Midwest) due to its high crime rates. The name picked up popularity around 2012 when fellow Chicago native, Chief Keef, was signed. In “Anti-Chiraq,” Pohhla wanted audiences to become first-hand witnesses to the effects of violence.
