NEW ROAD TO HIGH SCHOOL Just an update on our new road leading to and from Rives Junction Rd. We are in the process of getting some new speed limit signs to post along both sides of the road in an attempt to keep our traffic moving at a safe speed. The asphalt that is currently down is just a 3 thick base coat, which is why it doesnt necessarily look as good as it will when it is completed in the spring or summer. With all of our construction traffic starting in the spring on the High School project , we wanted to wait and put the 2 thick finished top coat on after the bulk of the heavy equipment traffic was done, thus not tearing up our fresh new top coat of asphalt if we were to put it down now.
