In Saturday morning’s workshop session, Pam will show you how to get your dog to recall even when faced with environmental distractions. Note: attendees will receive a free eBook copy of Pam’s “Training the Whistle Recall Curriculum Book” after the workshop. This session also prepares instructors for becoming a Certified Whistle Recall Instructor. Loose Leash Walking Do you take your dog for walks or does your dog take you for walks? Saturday afternoon’s workshop will give you training tools to put the fun back into walking your dog! Using Pam’s all-positive methods, you’ll learn how to build desire in your dog to want to walk at your side instead of pulling you where it wants to go. Sunday: Fine Tuning for Obedience and Rally Competition Pam will help you improve your communication with your dog in the ring by fine-tuning your body posture, footwork, timing, hand cues and leash handling. Working with Pam, you will learn how to efficiently train correct heel position, straight sits, fast go-outs, signal exercises and more. She will also help you achieve higher scores by showing you how to fix problems such as crooked fronts, forging, lagging, losing heel position during turns, pivots and figure eights, moving forward in the signal exercise, and more. Pam is the author of several books, including "Click Your Way to Rally Obedience" and "The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Positive Dog Training." She is a renowned trainer and workshop presenter, working with thousands of dogs and handlers to build strong relationships and solve problems using positive training methods.
