NEW YEAR = NEW CLASSES = NEW YOU Its no secret that what we do is hard...really hard and often times quite technical. Its also no secret that this can intimidate the heck out of people. I cannot even count how many times Ive been told I need to get in shape before I come to SPARK or Its just too much. Whats frustrating is that I think we do a great job at scaling things down to accommodate everyone HOWEVER I do realize that not everyone is confident enough to make the jump into what we do and in a bigger group setting. SO... Starting January 5th we will start SPARK 101. This will be a 6 week, 12 class program that runs Monday and Wednesday at 5:30-6:30pm. It will be an Intro of sorts to what we do and how we do it. You will not only learn how to move properly but you will learn how to do the movements we commonly use. You will also establish a base level of fitness (yes, you will most definitely get your workouts in) and you will do it in a class of no more than 8 people - who are just as scared as you are to start! These are not drop in classes. It is a structured and scheduled program with all the same faces each day that will help oyu start on the path to heath, fitness and happiness all while seeing what an awesome family we have here at SPARK. We will also have short talks on food choices, stretching and mobility, sleep etc and even give you some things to do in between your Wednesday and Monday class. We will be offering this for $199 plus GST. If you know someone that is frustrated with their fitness, weight and lack of energy (and like most people, have no idea what to do about it) and they are looking to ACTUALLY do something about it in the new year please let them know about it. Or you could even surprise them with it!! GREAT IDEA! As mentioned, this will be limited to 8 people. Very supportive, lots of fun and LOTS of motivation! I am very excited about this and if this fills we may have to add a second class. And now one more thing - were going to try a noon class. This class will be a little different than our regular sessions in that were going to make it simpler... Introducing SPARK BURN This is what I will refer to as Less Tech More Wreck. This will be a lunchtime sweatfest where we put away the Olympic Lifts and Heavy weights and put the pedal to the metal. High Intensity, simple movements, lots of work and lots of calories spent. We will run this Mondays and Wednesdays from 12-1pm also starting on the 5th. These can be used as your regular classes without any separate memberships or fees. Some people may choose to only do these and some may use them to compliment their regular classes - whatever works for you.
