***NEW app of the day*** (3.99) Montessori Math City is a wonderful app for teaching children about numbers, place value, and the concepts that make up the decimal system. This app includes two different sections for learning, including the Montessori golden beads and the Tens Board, also called number blocks. Both give very concrete visuals to help children understand a much more abstract concept. There are also very clear instructions, and an example is given for each section to avoid frustration. This app is just engaging by design, and it allows for up to 40 users and supports 15 different languages. The app is programmed to to adapt the difficulty level to match the level of the users progress. As children continue to succeed, they unlock fun stickers and additional blocks in their own little city.
