Roses are red and all that business. Then I moved to Portland - the City of Roses - home of the International Rose Test Gardens. I bought a house with a multitude of rose bushes growing around the perimeter - pink, yellow, white. Its walking distance to four small community rose gardens. Roses roses everywhere! And I couldnt continue to deny them. Roses are sultry and elegant and unequivocally feminine - its so easy to get lost in their complexity and lushness. Sometimes the depths of their vibrancy seem endless. How could I have been such a fool? Roses are breathtaking. My original photo scarf printed on luxurious 100% domestic silk charmeuse using green inks. Inks will not bleed or fade with washing (hand wash, air dry).
