NEWS - Ancaster night hunting case finally put to rest. An Ohsweken man has been fined $1, 500 and found guilty for unlawfully possessing a loaded firearm at night and having a loaded firearm in a vehicle. The male was stopped by Conservation Officers at night on Paddy Green Road in Ancaster, Ontario. The male claimed he was night hunting. Conservation Officers at the time located the loaded .243 rifle beside the driver between the seats. OCOA thanks the Guelph District of the Enforcement Branch in preventing night hunting crimes against wildlife.
