NEWS ADVISORY: House State Government Committee to Consider Ban on Taxpayer-Funded Collection of Union Dues WHAT: House State Government Committee Majority Chairman, Representative Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler), will convene a public hearing to discuss legislation that would end the union practice of direct payroll deductions to collect dues and political contributions at taxpayers’ expense (House Bill 1507).
