NEWS ALERT: Pittsfield City officials are set to unveil their pay YOU NOT to throw program. The program, titled after the more progressive pay AS you throw trash programs used in some towns, would actually give tax credits to residents who abandon used items like junk cars, old sofas, and toilets on their front lawns. Absentee landlords will be eligible for a special bonus tax credit for taking part in the program.
