The team have met up in the last couple of weeks to finalise bikes and team setup, and things are looking very exciting thanks to support from Trek UK and Bontrager. The team is excited to have riding for them existing Neon Velo rider Hugo Robinson and new signing Sean Dunlea. Sean said “Signing with the team has opened up a new path in my career, and I can experience these amazing opportunities in a comfortable and professional environment”. Having raced in many places, Sean is very excited about the international Calendar the team has for the 2014/2015 season. The team will be making international waves, with one of the most exciting race calendars of any rider worldwide. The team will start at the Yanqing International Cyclocross in China on the 30th of August, and then fly straight to America for Cross Vegas on September 10th and the Trek CXC. “I’m really looking forward to these races.” said Sean, “Not only are they opportunities to race against the worlds best, they’re also opportunities to test myself in a high stress environment”. The team will also focus on races in Europe, returning to Britain at the start of October in time for the opening round of the National Trophy series in Shrewsbury. The guys are looking to ride well in Britain and then continue on to ride well in Belgium at the BPost Troffee and Hansgrote Superprestige Series and in the World Cup series across the European continent. After missing large chunks of the last season due to illness, Hugo says he is “Eager to get stuck in and show the world what I’m capable of”. Team Manager Emma Backhouse said about the season “It’s exciting, and I think the team are going to do great this year. There is a real positive feeling amongst the CX team and we are all looking forward to the season ahead”.
