MANILA - The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration has cancelled the permit of 63 recruitment agencies in its continuing drive to weed out unscrupulous and recalcitrant licensed agencies from its list. In his Tweet, POEA chief Hans Cacdac enumerated: Agencies delisted for failure to upgrade their provisional licenses to full licenses within the prescribed period > A & S Manpower Resources Inc. > Amirah Umaimah Human Resources Inc. > BLT Global Manpower Services Inc. > ETT Innovative Manpower Solutions Inc. > Global Hospitality Placement Agency Philippines Corp. > Human Resources Overseas Employment Agency Inc. > Summit Placement and Resources Transfer Corp. Agencies delisted for failure to submit applications for renewal of their licenses within the prescribed period > IDC Manpower Services Inc. > Transnational Resources Inc. Agencies delisted due to suspension prior to expiry of their licenses > FMR-1990 Staffing Services Inc. > Kookies International Recruitment Agency Inc. MANILA – The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) issued a preventive suspension order against 8 agencies for supplying their workers with fraudulent documents. Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac identified the recruitment agencies as: > Experts Placement Agency, Inc., > Zareiko Production, Inc., > Dobim International Manpower Services, > Chosen Divine Mercy Manpower Services Corporation, > Tibiao Antique Manpower Corporation, > Nahed International Manpower Services, > Trustworthy International Manpower Corporation, and > Ridzkey Human Resources International Services. Cacdac said these are also the same agencies previously endorsed to the POEA by the Bureau of Immigration for administrative sanctions. Cacdac said the Bureau of Immigration reported that the workers initially presented at the airport their travel and employment documents stating they were bound for the United Arab Emirates to work as office clerks, salespersons, cashier, among others. However, they were also in possession of visas and itinerary tickets either for Jordan or Lebanon to work as household service workers. The workers were eventually barred from leaving the country. Cacdac directed the POEA’s Adjudication Office to speed up the hearing of the cases and submit recommendations for the issuance of a final order.
