NEWS RELEASE For more information: Scott Apostoli, Executive Director, (636) 279-4170 Brazilian Soccer Comes to Lexington! Commonwealth Soccer Club Welcomes Luiz Greco August 16-17 Lexington, KY – July 17, 2013 – Commonwealth Soccer Club (CSC) is pleased to welcome Coach Luiz Greco, International Director, Atletico Paranaense, of Curitiba, Brazil to Kentucky. This is an exciting opportunity for all Central KY youth soccer players and coaches to train and learn Brazilian-style techiniques for the beautiful game. CSC will kick off their new International Program with Coach Greco leading three training camps for youth players along with special sessions for coaches teaching the fundamentals of Brazilian Soccer. Youth Camps will be held Friday, August 16 from 6-8 pm, Saturday, August 17 from 8-10 am. Coaching Sessions will be Friday at 8 pm and Saturday at 8 am. All camps and sessions will take place on the CSC home fields at Lexington Christian Academy, 450 West Reynolds Road, Lexington. Registration and fee details can be found at csc-ky. Coach Greco’s thirty years of international coaching experience includes working with some of the top players in world futebol and service to EC Cruzeiro, Clube Atletico Mineirao, Fabril EC, and America FC. He currectly serves as the International Director of Atletico Paranaense, professional 1st division Brazilian Futebol. Coach Greco will bring the beautiful game to Lexington and share the process of developing players like Neymar Jr, David Luis, Fernandinho, Alves, Silva, Oscar, Ronaldo, Ceasar, and Pele. The mission of CSC is to develop young athletes into well-round skillful and imaginative soccer players as they move into high school and college years. We focus on the development of physical, technical, tactical and mental soccer skills through an elite process driven and highly competitive program.
