NEWS RELEASE LINCOLNTON-LINCOLN COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOLD ANNUAL BANQUET ON NOVEMBER 21, 2013 The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Banquet on November 21, 2013 at The Laboratory Mill, located at 848, Southfork Road, Lincolnton, NC. It will begin at 6:00 pm with a reception, followed by dinner at 7:00 pm. Guest speaker for the evening will be Mr. Ray Evernham, CEO of Ray Evernham Enterprises and ESPN Analyst. Mr. Evernham was a three-time NASCAR Winston Cup Championship winning crew chief for #24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet driven by Jeff Gordon and was voted the Greatest Crew Chief of All Time by media in 2006, as well as NASCAR Winston Cup Scene Crew Chief of the Decade in the 1990’s. Mr. Evernham will be speaking on the importance of NASCAR to the Charlotte Region. This year’s Annual Banquet is being presented by First Federal Savings Bank and will feature the passing of the gavel of leadership from 2013 Chair of the Board, Melisa Harrison, 1st Advantage Insurance Group to David Boyles, Carolina Furniture Mart, 2014 Chair of the Board. Other highlights will include recognition of outgoing Board members, Volunteer of the Year, New Member of the Year, Small Business Person of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year. In addition, the Lincolnton Rotary Club and the Business and Professional Womens’ Organization will present their Man and Woman of the Year Awards. Also, the Lincoln Economic Development Association will present their Annual Industry of the Year award as well.
