***NEWS*** Researchers claim the highest-risk road in the North East is an eight and a half mile stretch of the A181 between the A19, Peterlee and Durham. Its according to the Road Safety Foundation. It says our regions got the third safest roads in the country. What do you think? Where is the most dangerous road in the North East? If you travel around the country, how’s our driving here compared to elsewhere? If we have some of the safest roads, does that mean we are better – and safer – drivers than motorists in other parts of the country?
