NEWS UPDATE @ 12PM WITH Orange Uganda: JAILED FORMER AMISOM SOLDIERS IN COURT AGAIN: The ex-commander of the Uganda contingent in Somalia, Michael Ondoga and two other soldiers accused of failing to perform their duties while in Somalia, and stealing food meant for soldiers, have today returned to Makindye court martial for the ruling of their case. EU INCREASES AID TO UGANDA: The European Union has announced an increase in aid given to Uganda. European Union Head of Delegation in Uganda Ambassador Kristian Schmidt says the bloc will collectively extend funds to Uganda, to a tune of 578 million Euros from 439 Million Euros. WOMAN IMPERSONATES MALE UPDF OFFICER: Police in Kitgum district is holding a 28-year-old woman for allegedly impersonating a senior UPDF officer.
