NEWSFLASH****Here’s What the Casting Process for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Is Really Like Between the months of fitness training and the lack of clothing involved on the runway, it’s no surprise just how intense the casting for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is. However, believe it or not, the process behind picking the Angels actually goes far beyond the bodies. This new behind-the-scenes video from CBS gives an inside look into exactly which qualities comprise the ideal VS model. Besides the obvious factors, like rock-hard abs, great skin, and friendly personalities, casting director John Pfeiffer said that when it comes down to it, viewers “just want to be inspired.” It’s this hard-to-define It factor that we already know and love from Victoria’s Secret favorites like Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda, and Adriana Lima that sets them apart from the rest.
