NEWSFLASH!!!!!! We are delighted to announce the return of World class Kickboxing & K-1 to the fabulous and recently refurbished Black Box Theatre in the centre of Galway City. The Black Box is perhaps one of, if not the most atmospheric Fight Venues in the entire country and with the makeover and recently installed extra tiered seating and professional lighting and sound system, the 700 hundred seater venue gives fight fans that up close feeling of almost being in the ring no matter where they sit. Out very own K-1 Superstar Paul the Hurricane Huish will headline this fantastic Fight night with a mandatory first defence of his IKF European Super Lightweight K-1 crown against a top ranked opponent from Central Europe. Galways Ryan Ali will challenge for the vacant All Ireland Middleweight Full Contact rules title against top ranked contender Mark Comerford from the well respected Carlow Black Dragon camp and Dungarvans Brett Egen will defend his Irish Light Cruiserweight K-1 Title against ISKA Champion Martin Ward from Athlones premier Kickboxing club Na Fianna. With a fantastic undercard made up of Galway Black Dragons future Kickboxing & K-1 superstars versus fighters from the top clubs from all over Ireland, the 11th April is a date that every serious fight fan needs to remember!
