NEXT WEATHER EVENT LOOKS TO ME MOSTLY RAIN FOR THE NORTHEAST EXCEPT FOR PERHAPS UPSTATE NY AND INTERIOR NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND After last nights series of runs im pretty much throwing in the towel as far as snow goes. The only chance there is will be at the beginning for coastal SE NY New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania...and since we are taking a low west of the Appalachians, a change over to rain everywhere appears to be a certaintiy. The only questions that remain in my mind is how much if any snow or sleet falls at the start and how warm does it get on Sunday. If the track is like the parallel gfs or last nights Canadian, it could go into the 50s or even briefly touch 60 again in some places. Since all the models seem to have come around to this idea, unless we see some sort of radical change (which of course now that Ive posted this lol) it will a snow to rain and warm, to colder weather back on Monday of next week.
