Take A Stand: So One Day, Everybody Can After my last football game, the Doctor drilled 4 holes into my skull while I was awake, but I would not and Did Not Cry in front of my Parents. No time for tears: when there is a fight to be fought. Like a linebacker or the Leader in the movie, I fight: to walk, for research, for cures. but I am not alone. Make no mistake: this is a war. With human casualties. And human suffering. How many millions of People have died from cancer, diabetes, HIV/aids, ALS, Huntingtons, Parkinsons, Spinal Cord Injury and Alzheimers?! Answer: More than every war ever fought in total number of human lives lost. This is not about living forever. Its about quality of life. Ourselves, our loved ones or people we may never meet are suffering and dying every minute of every day of diseases, injuries and sickness. Lo there do I see my Father, Lo there do I see my Mother, my Sisters and Brothers in the fight for cures. From the aide and support of our soldier and Well Pace CEO Ron Williams, the perseverance of my research partner Tory Williams, the brilliance of Dr. Raj Singh and a pioneering Titan of stem cell science himself, Dr. Hans Keirstead and many more and especially The Lord. We shall and all know blood, sweat and tears without measure, but History shall remember us for fighting and beating disease and enabling cure. We shall be known for forever.
