NHC Empty Nesters Group Update! Everyone had a great time at the Empty Nesters Group Welcoming Shabbat Dinner this past Friday night, November 1st. There were 16 Empty Nesters at the dinner, and it was unanimously agreed, the night was a huge success! Lots of laughter and fun; making new friends and reacquainting with the “old” ones. Special thanks to Marji Lifton for coordinating this wonderful evening, to Lisa Green for offering her home, and to everyone else who participated and generously provided food, drink and wonderful company NHC’s Empty Nesters Group is open to the greater Rockland Jewish community. Marital status is NOT a factor. The group consists of anyone who is looking to have a good time with friends while enjoying various activities. The age range of our members is between 40 and 60 something. In addition, synagogue affiliation is not a factor, so whether you are affiliated with a local synagogue or not, you are welcome to join.
