NHL suspends John Tortorella for 15 days without pay. Tortorellas suspension is effective retroactive to Jan. 19 and runs through Feb. 2. He will miss 6 games. Tortorella is not permitted to have any interaction with his team prior to, during or after games. Colin Campbell calls Totorellas attempt to get to Flames locker room both dangerous and an embarrassment to the league, Campbell: Coaches in the NHL bear the responsibility of providing leadership, even when emotions run high and Mr. Tortorella failed in his responsibility to the game.
