(¯`✻´¯) NICE NEEDS YOU NOW!!! `*.¸.*✻ღ Fifteen-year-old Nice and her housemate, Gringo (also a 15-year-old Chi) came in to Manhattan ACC because their owner couldn’t meet their medical needs. And Nice does have some issues, which isnt surprising since neither dog seems to have ever seen a vet; she’s got 15 year old eyes, has some sort of mass that needs to be checked out, and those 15 year old teeth need to be cleaned. But is that enough to end her life in a noisy, crowded shelter? Both Nice and Gringo are on tomorrow’s euthanasia list and ACC won’t release them to anyone but a New Hope rescue. Surely, there is someone out there who has a teeny tiny space in their heart and their home to give this very bonded pair a chance to live out their remaining years. Surely, there’s someone out there who can work with a rescue to get them the vet attention that is found to be most appropriate. Surely, there is someone who looks at these two small scared Chis and says, I have room in my heart and my home for them. If that’s you, step up and start applying to foster or adopt either Nice or Gringo - or better yet, both. But do it right now; tomorrow, ACC won’t skip a beat in ending Nice’s life and won’t worry about whether or not Gringo is with her to the end.
