NIGERIA — Muslim Militants Murder Christians VOM Sources Seventeen Christians were murdered by Muslim militants in Nigeria’s Adamawa state on May 5. On Sunday, May 5th, suspected members of the Boko Haram sect arrived in Jilan village at a time when most Christians were in church. The Muslim militants began by shooting Christians carrying their Bibles on their way to church. Seven were killed. When the militants arrived at the church, they open fire, killing ten people and severely injuring 12. Many of the victims killed had children who were left as orphans and without provision. Please pray healing for those who have lost loved ones and provision and protection for Christians in this village.
