The Lord is my Light and my Salvation, whom shall I fear; the Lord is the Stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid... Everlasting God, the beginning and the end of everything, we bring our sacrifices of praise to You, for all Your goodness to us this day. We offer You our sleep this night; protect us, O Lord, in our sleep, in our dreams, and when we awake. Give us the company of St. Michael, the Archangel and all Holy Angels to defend our homes and everyone of us, both the young and the old ones. May we have a peaceful night and the grace to see another breaking of the day. This we ask, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
