NIGHT PRAYER In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit we adore You for all the favours bestowed on us this day, and for a favourable end to this day. We cannot do without You, Lord, we therefore commit ourselves and all our loved ones and neighbours to Your protection. Keep us safe this night, O Lord and defend us from all evils. Be our safety and stronghold this night. Uphold our body, soul and spirit, and enable us, Lord to sleep in peace. Keep all Angels of death and destruction far away from our homes; and may Your Angels continue to watch over us from now till the breaking of a new day. Amen.
