NIRC-ICSI charging Rs. 2250/- for attending seminar to be held on 31st May, 2014 at holiday inn. Why that much exorbitant fees for updating members. are you shortage of funds? are you a profit motive institution? are you treat your members/students as source of income? Now some facts about ICSI revenue and income. (As per Annual report 2012-13) Reserve and surplus= 2605494000/- Earmarked funds= 8488.74000/- income= 2093142000/- expenditure= 944891000/- net surplus= 1148251000/- when you have hundreds of crores as surplus and it is increasing by every year. Then why not a program be organised at reasonable cost say Rs. 1000/- . why you even after that much surplus wish to make profit from every activity of the institution. For whom you people are collecting that much surplus. You are not ready to publish the expenses ICSI or its regional offices making on you but you never miss any chance to generate income from members/students. I am raising this issue on FB because i have been assured that the programs will be conducted at reasonable cost and on cost to cost basis but nothing happened, they are still charging that much exorbitant fee.
