NJ Alimony Reform has tried from day 1 of its campaign to engage the family Bar. We even met with them on May 1, 2012 when Andrea White was the family law section chair. Instead of a discussion we came away from that meeting having been lectured about how advanced NJ alimony laws are. Now, after we have on our own built support for our concept of alimony reform, the bar has finally come to the conclusion that there are problems that need fixing. We truly hope that they are being genuine. We are looking forward to our meeting of minds to reach a consensus on what the purpise of alimony is and how we can solve the problems that both sides agree exist.
