NJ SPCA Capt and Chloe hiking today in northwest NJ and yes the trees are turning and everything looks beautiful. BUT this also sends a message that the temperatures are dropping into the 40s at night and soon will be much colder at night. So, to everyone please watch in your neighborhoods for people who think it is alright to leave their dogs out at night as the temperatures drop. Many people think it is fine to leave dogs out at night as the temperatures drop and it is NOT. Be proactive and protect those pups by calling our hotline at 1-800-582-5979 or go to njspca.org and use the report cruelty tab. It is NOT OK to leave dogs outside at night as the temperatures drop. Anyone who thinks it is ok should spend the night outside with their pup and I think they will change their mind !! Beds were made large enough that both humans and pups fit just fine !!!
