NO CHILVALRY IS NOT DEAD... but because our society has allowed - TopicsExpress

NO CHILVALRY IS NOT DEAD... but because our society has allowed lackluster for the appreciation of women, acts of being a gentlemen are fading. The misconceptions of what a man is supposed to be according to todays standards are a far throw from where they need to be. A prime example is what is happening to our music industry. Look at what almost every reference to our beautiful women is in todays so called music is... deplorable. And it has filtered through into every pore of our youths, and some grown mens, psyche. The regard for our women has been lowered. Carol Jean Davis taught me how to shake a mans hand, and she also taught me how to care for a women. I say care for a women because when in public because you dont have to assist all the time, nor is it showing favoritism, it is gentlemanly. These acts evoke strength and grace through common action, lending an elbow while in high heels, offering to carry bags, while walking down the sidewalk positioning oneself on the side of traffic, opening doors (car doors included), and the gas pumping thing... these simple gestures not only edify a womans presence publicly, but also reinforce the basic interaction/relationship foundation while away from the public eye. I WILL NEVER ALLOW MYSELF TO FALL. And to all that shall read this we can all do better.
