“NO FEAR” You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. (Ps. 91:5-6) When you frequent the secret place of the Most High (Ps. 91:1), you have nothing to be afraid of. Don’t be afraid of bad things that could happen at night (terror, pestilence). Don’t be afraid of bad things that could happen during the day (the arrow, destruction). You are not to fear whatever bad thing that could happen to you at any given time – day or night. But fear is a choice. Will you choose to fear or choose to fear not? Will you put your trust in God and His promises of protection or will you fear disasters? You can’t have it both ways! - Mark A.
