NO GREATER PRIVILEGE There is no greater privilege in this life than to know Christ, to walk with Him, and to experience His power. I mean absolutely no other privilege greater than knowing Christ. Oh yeah there is, doing whatever is necessary to experience the satisfying and rewarding life God has promised for us in this world. We need a plan and we need to work the plan in order to receive the wonderful Promises God has promised us. 3 We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints; 5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel 6 which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth; 7 just as you learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf, 8 and he also informed us of your love in the Spirit. 9 For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. Colossians 1:3-12… Let me ask you some questions. • How do you become a strong and mature Christian? • How do you let Christ live His life through you? • Can others see and feel the Christ in you? • How do you walk in the Spirit? • Do you find living the Christian life hard? • Do you as a Christian often feel like you don’t fit in? • Do you as a Christian often feel overwhelmed and frustrated? To be honest just making the Pilgrimage to church once a week is not it, because the devil is there too and can quote scripture better than you, shout, sing and all the rest. Your walk with God has to be Authentic. You must Acquire a taste and Thirst for a Godly Lifestyle. You need to take heed to the Word of God and you definitely need to “study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 How can you grow if you don’t eat? There is no reason for anyone today to suffer from Spiritual Malnutrition. The work of God has a recipe for every meal you desire to partake in. You must decide in your heart you are ready to cook. How can you grow if you keep letting yourself (FLESH) get in the way? If you have accepted Christ as your lord and Savior and doing the above then the Bible says “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 I could go on but I am pretty sure you are getting the jest of what I am trying to share with you. Be AUTHENTIC. Transformation is real and it can be hard but one must stay that course and look to and for the TRUE things of God….. I pray that you will touch a life today or a life will be changed because of a kind and honest word, a smile that does not lie.
