NO MORE WAR: I am increasingly tired of the declarations of war by those of political extremes. By this I mean (from the left) the War on Women and (from the right) the War on Religion and War on Marriage. Folks, not everyone who disagrees with your position is waging war on you. Think about it, when you declare that those who disagree with you are waging war, you are engaging in a violent, adversarial, one-sided, and intolerant discourse. This includes most of the re-posts of blatantly slanted political blurbs. Most of these war posts are not going to sway open-minded undecided people, rather they seem more like rallying cries to fire up political partisans who have already made up their (closed) minds, kinda like throwing blood in the water to attract sharks. I know this may upset some of my family and friends, but when I read some of these war declarations, it makes me think less of the poster than the supposed warmonger(s.) Peace and goodnight.
