NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! theguardian/football/2014/jun/17/wayne-rooney-roy-hodgson-uruguay If that stupid oaf is playing in the number 10 role, then thats it. England will lose to Uraguay, and will be eliminated from the world cup. Sterlings natural position is on the wing, but he did, a, uh, sterling job in the no. 10 role, capped with an excellent 30 yard pass. He might have faded in that match, but so did everyone, considering the heat and humidity. Sterling and Lallana HAVE to play, and Rooney HAS to be dropped. I went from being very happy that Sterling was starting against Italy, to being soo gutted when Lallana was left out, as it was confirmed the oaf was playing. He literally offers nothing. He runs around, not at great pace, shoots wide and hoofs passes around which goes nowhere. (Leave the hollywood balls to Stevie G -- at least he can do it.) Those banging on about his assist against Italy as exhibit A for a reprieve, but thats an easy cross to make. I mean, ffs, did he even test Sirigu in the Italian goal?! I seem to remember him dragging a shot like 10 yards wide, which is simply not good enough at this level, or for a striker of his supposed talent. And then there is the time where he sent a corner into Row Z. The chances teams get at this level must be taken, because all of the teams are good enough to punish mistakes. How about his other record at world cups? Before the Italy game, he played 8 games. He has no goals. His biggest contribution in WC2006 was stamping on Carvalhos nuts and screwing his team over, whilst his biggest contribution in WC2010 was slagging off the fans who travelled so far to watch that pathetic team play, and at great expense. The oaf has had enough chances, so how many more is he going to get? If you wont listen to me, listen to Rita Mae Brown: insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. WHY SHOULD ENGLAND EXPECT THINGS TO CHANGE NOW!! #RooneyOUT
