NO TAXI? I was grabbing a chat with a long time friend from Jakarta, sitting at Anomali Cafe, and saw a foreign woman slowly walking down main street with a HUGE NO TAXI sign held visible at chest level. I personally think that aggressiveness can only stay passive so long before it becomes active, and I do think she crossed the line. Am I being a judgmental bottom (edit: I mean over the top, actually) or? What do you think of that? EDIT: Once again, I was biatchin without positive outcome... So, actually, I found that just smiling, bowing a bit and saying Suksma usually works marvels when refusing a ride :) EDIT2: Have you ever had issues with rude taxi drivers in Ubud? Where? That would be interesting to know...
